Cavalieri Psychiatry is an out-of-network, private-pay practice and does not directly participate with insurance plans.
Upon request, we may provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends entirely on your individual insurance plan. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurer directly to understand their out-of-network mental health benefits.
Fees depend on the type and length of appointment — an initial comprehensive evaluation is priced differently from follow-up visits. Please call the office or submit a consultation request and we will gladly discuss current fees before you schedule.
Yes. Telepsychiatry appointments are available to patients physically located in Florida, where Dr. Cavalieri is licensed to practice. Video appointments are conducted through a secure platform.
When medically appropriate and legally permitted, psychiatric medications may be prescribed as part of treatment. Certain medications are subject to additional federal and state regulations.
No. Treatment decisions are collaborative. Your psychiatrist will discuss available options, expected benefits, potential risks, and alternatives — and you remain an active participant in every decision about your care.
Psychiatric care is confidential and protected by applicable privacy laws. There are limited exceptions to confidentiality required by law, which will be discussed as part of the practice's informed-consent process.
Cavalieri Psychiatry provides psychiatric care for adults age 18 and older who are physically located in Florida at the time of their telepsychiatry appointment. The practice does not currently see patients under 18.
